About the Artist
Kristina is a self-taught Filipino-Chinese American illustrator and the founder of Cheery Human Studios. Her passion for drawing, stickers, and cute characters dates back decades to her fondest childhood memories of Sanrio, Disney cartoons, Reading Rainbow, sticker books, crayons, coloring books, Rainbow Brite, and scrapbooking.
In 2016, she launched Cheery Human Studios after rediscovering her love for illustration, nearly a decade into her career as a designer in the tech industry. Since then, she has focused on crafting thoughtful gifts and paper goods for you and the people you care about.
Alongside her work at Cheery Human Studios, she collaborates with clients to create illustrations and designs for their editorial, product, publishing, and marketing projects. She has worked with local California based brands such as Helms Bakery, California Donuts, Passion Planner, The California Endowment, and more.
Additionally, Kristina enjoys teaching local creative workshops where she guides folks through different aspects of her art practice such as watercolor paper collage and sublimation printing.
